Death in Bahamas sparks online 'alien conquest' theories

AN ALIEN-OBSESSED British author's death at Cable Beach has sparked international online debate about whether she was murdered because she exposed reptilian aliens' plans to take over the world.
Now Jennie Gosbell's mother in the UK has gone on record telling a British newspaper she thinks Bahamian tourism and police authorities are brushing her daughter's death "under the carpet" to protect the country's reputation as a toursm idyll.
An inquest into the woman's death, ruled a drowning by Bahamian police, is due to begin in Hertfordshire, England, tomorrow.
Police ruled out homicide after discovering 44-year-old Jennie Gosbell's lifeless body in the ocean off Cable Beach, near the Carefree condominium apartments, in October of last year.
But her mother says the circumstances surrounding her daughter's death give the impression its causes may have been "far more sinister" and warrant further investigation.
